Fresh identity and website signals new look for CeNeS

CeNeS Pharmaceuticals discovers and develops treatments for disorders related to the Central Nervous System, particularly in the areas of pain, anaesthesia and neurology. CeNeS aims to build a profitable, European speciality pharmaceutical company by developing, partnering and marketing a portfolio of new pharmaceutical products which offer significant improvements over the existing 'gold standard' treatments. CeNeS has considerable experience in developing CNS and pain products up to clinical proof of concept and beyond.

Situation Analysis
The existing brand identity and website did not clearly reflect that of a 'product' company with a dedicated focus. The imagery used was very technical and there was no clear design style across all media. Northbank identified that a strengthened Corporate identity was the right solution to help build a valuable, cohesive and manageable identity which truly reflected the strengths and goals of the Company.

Objectives

Strengthen overall identity, building on established logo and corporate colours
Create new creative theme to communicate key messages and establish CeNeS as a late stage CNS focused product company
Create new website to enable easy access, clear communication and straightforward updating
Form new identity and corporate style to establish strong platform for all future communications materials.

Methods

A brainstorming meeting with key stakeholders was held to discover the values and key messages to be communicated in the identity and to establish technical specifications for the website
Northbank's creative team produced a selection of creative designs that captured the core personality and clearly positioned the Company

Results

The new website is distinctive and more united with the original logo, increasing the value of the whole identity
The new identity was well received by CeNeS staff and stands up against peers in the marketplace
The website has been structured and programmed to allow easy and direct access to all pages and to enable ease of use when making internal updates
A clear identity is now in place to enable easy implementation across other materials
