Brief
Cresset BioMolecular Discovery, a drug discovery technology company from Hertfordshire in the UK, launched its new FieldScreen™ technology and College Hill Life Sciences was hired to ensure that this received maximum publicity in the trade press.
Objectives

The primary objective was to get the name of Cresset and the FieldScreen™ technology known in the target audiences of biotechnology and pharmaceutical R&D |

The secondary objective was to ensure that coverage resulting from the launch was clear about the unique but complex basis of the technology

In preparation for the announcement a press release and distribution list were prepared |

The announcement was timed to coincide with the Genesis conference and interviews were lined up in advance with journalists attending the event |

Northbank liaised with key journalists in the relevant trade press to ensure they were aware of the story and its importance to the biotechnology industry |

Telephone interviews were set up on the day with specially interested journalists
