College Hill Life Sciences Expands Public Relations Client Base and U.S. Team

SAN FRANCISCO -- April 29, 2009 -- The Life Sciences team of College Hill, the international business communications consultancy, announced today that it has expanded its client base and bolstered its team in the U.S. During the first quarter of 2009, several organizations in the biotechnology sector selected College Hill to develop and execute strategic public relations campaigns in the U.S. Among these organizations were Cyntellect, Inc., a leading provider of microplate-based cytometry systems for in situ cellular analysis and purification, and Altair Therapeutics, Inc., an emerging biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics to treat human respiratory diseases.

College Hill also recently appointed Kena Hudson as Senior Account Executive in its San Francisco office. An experienced media relations practitioner, Hudson brings more than 12 years of communications experience to her role on the College Hill Life Sciences team. She served most recently as Senior Account Executive at Schwartz Communications, where she spearheaded numerous successful PR campaigns for a wide range of biotech and medical device clients. Previously, Hudson served as Senior Director of Communications & Marketing at the American Heart Association, Asst. Press Secretary to the Governor of California, and Chief of Public Affairs to the California Department of Transportation. She was also an award-winning news broadcaster at CBS and ABC TV affiliate stations and earned her BA (Hons) in broadcasting from Cameron University.
