4th May 2011, London: College Hill Life Sciences is delighted to announce that it is the 2011 sponsor of the award for the "Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector" at the European Mediscience Awards on 22nd June 2011.
The European Mediscience Awards celebrates and recognizes excellence and success in the European mediscience sector. Now in its 10th year, this has become the largest annual gathering of publicly quoted pharma, biotech and medical device companies in Europe and is the absolute 'must-attend' networking event for leading corporate advisors, analysts, investors and media in these sectors.
The accolade for "Most Significant Contribution to the Mediscience Sector", is sponsored by College Hill Life Sciences for the 3rd year running and recognises an individual, company, government department, or research council which has made the single, most significant contribution to the sector. Last year?s winner was the European Medicines Agency, with previous recipients including the Biotechnology Industry Association and Shire Pharmaceuticals.
Commenting on College Hill's sponsorship of the Award, Sue Charles, Managing Partner, Life Sciences said:
"We are delighted to be supporting the European Mediscience Awards for the third time and to be sponsoring such an important category. For the past few years, the economic environment has been very difficult for all companies but especially those in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. The European Mediscience Awards is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our support and to celebrate the successes of the year. As always, we expect a high standard of entrants for the Award and we look forward to presenting the award to the winner in June."
