Capital Markets
London, 15th September 2008 College Hill today is a multi-specialist communications business, aiming to meet the varied needs of our clients, from corporate communication and design through to internal engagement and crisis management.
At the core of College Hill’s offer is capital markets communications – at that point where the value of our client’s business is realised for its shareholders. On a day-to-day basis, our task is to assist our clients build and maintain their reputation with financial media and investment analysts. And College Hill's transaction experience, built over many years, includes cross-border transactions, IPOs, privatisations, and demutualisations. Frequently these transactions are realised across national borders, and involve multiple stock exchanges.
Over the years College Hill has acted for a wide range of clients in different sectors, and we are now organised in seven sector teams (one of which is Life Sciences). This focused approach allows our consultants to develop deep knowledge of the industry and its commentators.
Our capital markets clients include leading companies such as Punch, Arla Foods, Liberty International, Paternoster, Costain and PSN, and a large number of smaller companies – listed and private – with which we grow. A key aspect of our business has been the increasing number of clients from growth countries – recent examples include Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (Russia), Landkom (Ukraine), GT Bank (Nigeria), Khan Bank (Mongolia) and T-Hrvatski Telecom (Croatia).
College Hill currently ranks 4th in the UK league tables (including only UK-based listed clients) by number of clients. But we think that our approach is more important than our size. We continually challenge ourselves to add value to our clients. This often means that we ask the difficult questions that others may not. The financial market is an unforgiving place, and we believe our clients are best served by honesty, based on thorough industry knowledge. Together, we then develop and execute effective strategies that help to maximise shareholder value, whatever the conditions.
