GreetingsHaving been active in the Biotech sector since 1985, I am sure that many of you will agree with me that 2009 will go down as one of the most challenging years in the sector. So as the holiday festivities approach, I hope that you will be able to take some time out to relax and to look forward to a more prosperous year in 2010. |

The signs in the last few months are very positive with activity around new funds, financings, transactions, launches and new deals. November and December have been very busy for us and, as the New year fast approaches, January looks to continue that trend. Time will tell if 2009 has changed the "model" forever - or whether it has been just another step in the evolution of the ever changing life sciences ecosystem. All companies have had to learn to live with tighter and more focused budgets, and more flexible operations. The fittest have emerged and will no doubt grow forward stronger. Good luck to you all! In this issue of our newsletter we look at some of our more active projects from recent months and include our article just published in Nature Bioentrepreneur that explores how investment in branding can pay dividends. We are planning an active conference schedule in 2010 so we hope to meet you at one of these events.
Season's Greetings and a Happy New Year from the entire College Hill Life Sciences team.
